PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that pursuant to resolution of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Delmar Fire District, in the Town of Bethlehem, Albany County, New York, sealed bids for the Ramp Improvement project at Delmar Fire District, Station 1 will be received by the Board of Fire Commissioners at the Delmar Fire District, 145 Adams Street, Delmar, in the Town of Bethlehem, Albany County, New York, until 4:00 PM on August 27, 2015.

Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes at the above address and shall bear on the face thereof “Ramp Improvement Bid Enclosed” the name and address of the bidder.

The bid shall comply with the contract documents and specifications adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners. Specifications will be available to any interested bidder by contacting the Delmar Fire District Administrator, Candice Haack at an e-mail address:

Where bids are made per item, the unit cost and the total cost of each item shall be provided. The Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject all or any part of any per item bids or to accept a bulk bid. The contract for purchase in cases where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Board of Fire Commissioners may award the contract to either of such bidders. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right, however, to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed by them to be in the best interests of the Delmar Fire District. The bid shall contain such statements, resolutions, affidavits, certificates and other assurances as are or may be required under the laws of the State of New York affecting fire district purchases, including the non-collusion certificate required by General Municipal Law.
